Get Wishing and Bindon Lane head for Bangor-on-Dee on Tuesday and they both run in the same 2.5 Novice Handicap Chase. Normally a first run over fences wouldn’t be so far away from home in case they fall at the first! Unfortunately with the current rule as it is, their first run has to be against novices wherever it is and only then are they qualified to run in an ordinary Handicap Chase which would normally be much closer to home – This rule is currently being looked at and hopefully will soon be changed.

Howardian Hills has his first run over hurdles in a 2 mile Novice Hurdle at Taunton on Wednesday. After initially not liking jumping very much he seems to be enjoying it now so it will be interesting to see how he gets on.

Hartnoll Hero, our 4 year old by Sageburg, makes his racecourse debut at Newton Abbot on Thursday or Uttoxeter on Friday. He is very well bred and an exciting horse who is working very well at home. He is owned jointly by our sponsors The Hartnoll Hotel and Mrs De Wilde and Mr Brian Dallyn.

Bolving had an excellent first run at Stratford in the 2 mile 6 Handicap Chase. He made all the running and jumped particularly well – it was unfortunate that they had removed three fences including the last as this would have helped him, but he will improve for the run.
