Sweet Adare starts her season at Stratford today in a mares handicap hurdle. This well bred mare who won a bumper on her second attempt had a promising first season over hurdles following a wind operation. Her two seconds at Taunton and Wincanton were very promising against good opposition, while her last run of the season at Newbury in the mares final is easily forgiven as it was too close to her previous run, also her last run was over 2m 4f and her best runs to date have been on sharp tracks over 2m.

River Bray has come out of his Chepstow race very well and the intention is to go back over fences with him now with options at Uttoxeter (November 1st) and Wincanton three weeks later the most likely.

The first week in November looks being busy with Ut Majeur Aulmes, Dancing Shadow, Bolving and Bindon Lane all appearing.

The gallop with its new carpet surface has coped very well with the recent heavy rain and has put us into a far better position than we were last year with the old wood chip surface.
