Howardian Hills started his new flat campaign well today with a good second at Salisbury, beaten by a 20/1 shot. This was his best effort on grass and shows he needs good fast ground to produce his form. He should be a fun horse this summer on the flat and over hurdles and there are still shares available in him as advertised on racehorsetrader.com.

Most of our horses are out at grass having their summer break, our season finally got going as the ground improved and most of them will have to come in early to take advantage of good autumn ground.

The season produced some potential stars including Run to Milan, Admirals Secret and Sweet Adare. Bolving and Dancing Shadow both recovered their form on their last runs and Heluvagood was a revelation this spring. It was good to see Exmoor Mist recapture his form at Taunton and at his level he is an exciting chaser to watch.

Of the younger horses Haldon Hill looks to have loads of potential, while Sweet Adare could be a very good national hunt mare.
