Ut Majeur Aulmes runs in the Conditionals Jockeys’ Handicap Chase today, his first run of the season. He had a wind operation in early October and I am hoping this will allow him to recapture his form of twelve months ago, which if he does will put him in with a good chance today.

Mahler’s First tries three miles over fences for the first time at Exeter tomorrow. He should be suited to the slower pace of the race compared to his last run at Fontwell.

We are likely to have two runners on Boxing Day Admirals Secret and Shutscombe Hill both at Wincanton. Admiral Secret appears to have improved for his first outing and should be a strong contender for the two mile handicap chase.

Other runners over the festive period include Exmoor Mist and possibly Bolving at Taunton on December 30th, Minnie Escape at Uttoxeter on December 31st and Run to Milan at Exeter on January 1st.
