Last Saturday was the final day of the 2017/18 National Hunt season. The season was characterised by heavy ground and many of our horses cannot operate under such conditions, as the ground improved the yard ran into form with a few exceptions they all started to run very well. It was good to see Exmoor Mist and Bolving recovering their form and Admiral Secret and Sweet Adare establishing themselves as potentially smart prospects.

Last week Dancing Shadow ran to his best over hurdles at Exeter when third  in the novice hurdle, he will now revert to chasing. The blinkers seem to have rejuvenated him.

Run to Milan has been schooled over fences and appears to be a complete natural, he has now been roughed off for the season.

Heluvagood has also been schooled  over fences and has been entered for the novice handicap chase at Uttoxeter on Saturday.

We should have several runners next week subject to ground conditions being suitable including Howardian Hills at Bath and Admirals Secret at Exeter. Exmoor Mist and Get Wishing will also appear next week.
