Racing prospects look more certain now as the autumn rains have started. We are off today to Chepstow with Get Wishing who appears to be a reformed character this season since two issues have been rectified.
On Saturday Admiral Secret is my first runner at Kelso and is in very good order at home. Dancing Shadow will run at Wincanton on Saturday providing the forecast rain eases the ground sufficiently in the Badger beers handicap chase as a prelude to the borders national at Kelso in early December. River Bray runs at Sandown on Sunday. All three have been pleasing us at home.
Exmoor Mist produced a satisfactory first run on ground that was less than ideal and has come out of the race well. He has two nice targets in December to aim for.
