Bolving runs in the 2.4 Handicap Chase at Taunton tomorrow. The race is run in memory of two great stalwarts of racing in the South West, Mike Trickey and Geoff White, both of whom were good friends to many of us. Bolving appears to be in very heart and seems to have come on well from his first run of the season where he was only caught half way up the run in at Stratford.

Last week saw Sweet Adare run well enough at Wincanton in what turned out to be a hot 2 mile Handicap Chase. She landed on her head at the third, but in the end she was only 10 lengths adrift of the impressive winner. She now heads to a Mares Handicap Chase at Cheltenham next month which is a slightly lower grade and over a hopefully more suitable two and a half miles.

Next week is a busy one for us with runners at both Wincanton and Exeter.
