The National Hunt season proper has started with the two day Chepstow meeting where we run River Bray in the 2m handicap hurdle. He is the outsider due mainly to the pundits assuming it’s the wrong track as he has run well at Taunton, Wincanton and Newton Abbot in the past. However they have seen to missed his decent third at Exeter early last season, so I don’t think it’s a forgone conclusion that he won’t like the track. It may be that he runs to free for his own good and struggles to get home as he is very fresh and well.

Sweet Adare will either run at Ffos Las or Stratford next Saturday and she has really strengthened up over the summer.

We have resurfaced are main gallop during the summer and now a carpet gallop which rides superbly and enables us to train in all conditions.
